“Alabama Waldorf School is an award-winning, non-profit, private school serving 18 months old – 8th Grade students using a proven curriculum that allows the gradual unfolding of each child in an atmosphere that values beauty, truth, and goodness.”

This pro-bono logo was created with input from the school community through an online survey, and the typeface was chosen from approved Waldorf fonts. Feedback that influenced the design included descriptors and ideas as whole-child, nurturing, nature, playful, growth, earthy, thoughtful, holistic, that individuals make up the whole, and how Waldorf education is about planting seeds, as “the mighty oak from a tiny acorn springs.”
